FOOD & BEVERAGE
In addition to the room rent, food is charged at Rs. 1,470/- (An addl. 2% will be charged as tax for food and beverages) per head per day and covers all
3 meals plus tea and coffee.
The break up of this is as follows:
. Breakfast - Rs. 420/-
. Lunch - Rs. 425/-
. Dinner - Rs.425/-
. Tea/coffee - Rs. 200/-
Morning tea and coffee includes biscuits and fruit.
Evening tea and coffee spread includes biscuits and cake.
You will be charged for as many meals as you have with us. However, in the event that you will not be having a particular meal with us, we request you to inform us at least 3 hours prior to the meal. We cook based on a headcount, and the kitchen needs to be informed in advance because we work on the assumption that while you are staying with us, all your meals will be had here, and charge you accordingly.
Please note however, that our tea and coffee charge is mandatory and
non-negotiable. This is because it is laid out between 5:30 am and noon; 3:30 and 6 pm, and again between 9 and 10 pm. This makes it almost impossible to keep track of how many cups have been consumed. We consider children of 10 years of age and above to be adults and they are charged accordingly, while children between the ages of 6 - 9 years are charged half rate for food.
Any activities, beverages, transport etc will be in addition to the room and food prices mentioned.
DISCLAIMER
We are a family run resort, catering to families, couples and mixed-gender groups.
Consequently, we subscribe to a very strict policy of not accepting groups with less than 40% ladies. We also do not entertain corporate bookings.
ACTIVITIES, TREKS & SAFARIS
We conduct a variety of activities, and advise our guests to decide on an activity after meeting with our activities in-charge upon arrival at the resort. This way guests have a better feel for the place and can make an informed choice of what they'd like to do. Also, charges vary across activities and according to variables such as how many people share a jeep and so on. Any activities that you should choose to participate in by way of treks and safaris shall be at an additional cost to the room and food.
CONFIRMATION OF YOUR BOOKING
Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of
advance payment of one days room rent,
- Via Bank Transfer within the time frame given by us. (Call or write in for details). In case of late transfers, the money shall be refunded, less 10% as service charge.
- Alternatively call or write in with your credit card details (Credit card number, expiry date and CVV code), allowing us to conduct on offline transfer and confirm your booking immediately. Rest assured that your credit card details will be handled with utmost care.
- All other booking and cancellation policies apply.
DORM BOOKINGS AND CONFIRMATION OF THE SAME
Jungle Retreat offers 2 ten-bedded dorms and 1 six-bedded dorm. Any Dorm booking would be subject to the following terms and conditions:
- A minimum charge of 8 beds is mandatory for the ten-bedded dorms
- Food charges are applicable only to the number of people staying
- On weekends, Dorm bookings will be confirmed on advance receipt of the total food and bed charges for the duration of the stay.

CANCELLATION POLICIES
Cancellation of confirmed bookings will be treated as follows:
- No Refund for cancellations made 15 days or less, ahead of check-in date.
- 50% refund for cancellations made between 15 and 60 days ahead of check-in date.
- During your stay, if there are meals or coffee/tea not had, there will be no deduction made from the meal plan of Rs 1250/- per person per day.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Check out time: 12 noon Check in time 2 pm.
MODE OF REFUND
Refunds, if any from jungle retreat will be reimbursed only by cheque or bank transfer.
PETS
Please note that we have house pets on the property (Dogs and Cats). For this reason, we do not allow guests to bring along their own pets. |
